Application of Xplique Example-Based module on Safran Visual Industrial Control Use Case

Description of the 'Xplique Example Based' component application on the Safran Visual Industrial Control use case. The component allows obtaining explanations based on examples. Four different explanation formats were obtained without major technical problems.
    
    An initial performance analysis of the model indicates that it makes too many errors to be considered reliable (a 1 in 3 chance of detecting an anomaly). However, the explanations reveal that the model can identify areas of potential defects. Additionally, the example-based explanations demonstrate that information about shapes, colors, and textures is present in the model's latent space.

    To improve the analysis, it would be beneficial to develop a more accurate model. Furthermore, it would be interesting to consider the types of defects and the masks localizing these defects. Comparing these with the explanations could provide a better evaluation of the model.
