Timing Predictability and Repeatability

The functions performed by an embedded system have usually to comply with a set of requirementsrelated to time: deadlines, response time, jitter, throughtpout, determinism, etc. For a critical system, thoserequirements must be specified and their satisfaction must be demonstrated.These requirements apply in particular to systems that integrate machine learning (ML) algorithmsIn this context, this document briefly recalls the nature of timing constraints, describes the structure andthe singularities of those algorithms regarding temporal analysis.
